Studying European Law

European Law is a compulsory subject of the diploma examination in the second stage of studies in the amount of 4 semester hours per week (§ 12(2) StPl 2014). The basics are taught in the lectures European Law I - Institutional Law and European Law II - Substantive Law, attendance of which is highly recommended. In the European Law course, the problem questions are discussed in depth and practiced on the basis of current ECJ case law. The subject examination is a written examination of 180 minutes.
For the third stage of studies, courses, seminars and a dissertation colloquium are offered.
