Fury and Surprise - Lorin-Johannes Wagner on Commission vs. Malta and its Discontents

The Court of Justice’s judgment in Commission v Malta has created quite some upheaval: The gasping and panting has been clearly discernible in the blogsphere in the wake of the ECJ’s judgment against Malta’s golden passport scheme.

Citizenship specialist Lorin-Johannes Wagner dissects the dogmas and myths of the discontent reactions to ECJ’s judgment against Malta in his article "Fury and Surprise Anchored in Dogmas and Myths" (Verfassungsblog.de). Link to the article below:

REWI auf Reisen: EuGH

Im Rahmen der von Christian Bergauer, Institut für Rechtswissenschaftliche Grundlagen, Nicole Gosch, Institut für Europarecht, und Andreas Kumin, Kammerpräsident am Europäischen Gerichtshof, ins Leben gerufenen Lehrveranstaltung „Der EuGH und seine Vorabentscheidungen im Datenschutzrecht“ hatte eine Gruppe von Studierenden die außergewöhnliche Chance, die Arbeit des Europäischen Gerichtshofs in Luxemburg hautnah mitzuerleben.
