Seminar Europe in Space - An Introduction into European Space Law

Interested in the legalities of the exploration and exploitation of outer space?

This seminar will take a look at the existing binding and non-binding legal instruments at a global level. The course will delve deeper into the European context and discuss the ESA-Treaty, national space legislation and policy documents of the EU setting out the EU’s Space strategy.

The Primacy of EU Law: new controversies about its scope and limits

On May 18, 2026 the Department of European Law hosted the very interesting lecture by internationally renowned Professor of European Law Bruno De Witte, followed by a lively discussion with Professor Erika de Wet (Department of International Law and International Relations), Prof. Paul Gragl (Department of European Law) and Prof. Marcus Klamert (Department of European Law).
